Dear Friends of Greenbridge Teahouse & Café,

Many of you commented on the recipe I shared for Traditional Scones.  Thanks for your comments, it was a little something to share, something you can pass along, in print, or baked up!  It’s especially important to show you care during these difficult times.  I’m always so glad to hear from you, and I wish it were in person, but we are called to do what we can, from where we are, with what we have as resources. Now we have the time to join together and bring something good to life:  we have decided to use this time to publish a cookbook.  I invite you to contribute your favorite recipe(s) and help make it a true community cookbook.  This will be good to share and a treasure to keep. Great gift too!

The cookbook will come to life during very difficult times, and it will be dedicated to all those involved in the massive effort to fight for life during the pandemic.  Add your name and recipe to the list, please  join in this project!  Greenbridge Teahouse is, of course, closed due to the pandemic, which gives us time to pause and bless all those involved in this global effort.  Let’s make our cookbook project a positive keepsake of favorite recipes to share.  Ask your family and friends to submit a recipe too; we will compile a wonderful collection..

I have had many conversations with guests about food, teas, and recipes, and I know there are a lot of good cooks and good recipe ideas out there.  I hope you each will take the time to share a recipe; your name will be listed with the recipe, and in the credits, of this keepsake.  Please consider joining this project!  It will be a collection from family and friends of Greenbridge:  vegetarian favorites from the menu, as well as your personal favorites.
